How to Upload a File
MediaLightbox.com is an award winning file upload site and file sending system. It is designed to help you to easily upload files, allowing you to store and catalogue your media files within a secure accessible site.
Once you have logged into your Media Lightbox account, file upload can happen in 2ways.
Please note: You will need to create a folder before you can upload a file using the steps in the 2 scenarios.
Click on the folder tab, and then select the ‘Add Folder’ option. A new folder will be added to the beginning of the list, and you will have the option to rename the folder before saving.
To upload files, you can select the 'Upload' tab from the navigation bar or select the ‘Upload Files’ option from within the folder you want to upload the files to.
1) Upload large files via the 'Upload' tab from the navigation bar.
· Click on the 'Upload' tab on the navigation bar.
· Select the folder you want to upload large files to.
· Click on the ‘Select Files’ button.
· Select the file or files you want to upload.
· After selecting the files, a status box will appear indicating the file upload progress.
· A message will be displayed when your files have been successfully uploaded.
2) Upload large files by selecting the ‘Upload Files’ option from within the folder you want to upload your files to.
· Open a folder that you want to upload a file to.
· Click the ‘Upload Files’ button.
· Click on the ‘Select Files’ option.
· Select the file or files you want to upload.
· After selecting the files, a status box will appear indicating the file upload progress.
· Our site will display a message when your files have been successfully uploaded.
You can send a link to these uploaded files to whoever you choose. Simply enter your contacts’ name into the ‘To’ field or select them by clicking on the ‘Contacts’ button. Add a message, a subject and click on the ‘Send Email’ button.
However, if your contact is not in your Media Lightbox system a new window will appear. Now enter your contacts first and last name and click ‘Send’. The link to the uploaded files will be sent to your contact and their details will be stored in the Contacts section of your accoun.
