In order for engineers to email a link they will need to upload files to their Media Lightbox account. Once uploaded select the project files you would like to send, then choose the ‘Email a link’ option from the action menu.
A new window will appear and all the files that you selected will be displayed in the ‘Added:’ section. If you wish to remove any files simply click on the red ‘X’ at the end of the file name. Enter a message then select the clients you would like to send the files to by typing their email address into the ‘To...’ field.
Using Engineer Project Management Tools To Send Files
When you are ready to send the files to your engineering clients or colleagues simply click on the ‘Send’ button. Our system does not attach any files to an email. Instead we create a unique link and attach it in the body of the email.
This link will redirect to the files you are managing in your Media Lightbox account. So wave goodbye to bounced emails and the hassle of file compression. You can now manage your important engineering files with ease via the Media Lightbox project management tool.
