Finding a file is easy with Media Lightbox. Simply enter the filename or part of the filename you are searching for into the search bar. It does not have to be the exact filename, as the system will also search for parts of a filename. You can also search for keywords that may have been associated with the file.
Once you have entered your search click the ‘Search’ button. Any files that have your search criteria as part of their file name or as a keyword will be returned in the search results, as shown below:
For a more refined search experience, use the Advanced Search. The Advanced search is accessible after having performed a normal search.
There are a number of ways in which you can utilize this search feature:
· Enter the filename or keyword.
· Select a file type
· Enter the date the file was added
· Select the size range of the file
· A combination of the above.
Once you have entered refined your search, click the ‘Refine Search’ button. Any files that have your search criteria will be returned.
